So you need someone to enter data. In a cell. Somewhere.
You have to describe to them where.
You have to tell them the row and the column.
They need to actually know where to enter the data.
And you have to tell them in an email. or a video.
But you work with the same people all the time.
You’re sending notes and cell numbers all the time to your colleagues.
NO MORE
If you use this garish blue…. every time you want data in there… it’ll create the habit.
Yep this blue ===> #00ffff
Put that in a cell, and tell someone. That blue cell, enter your numbers there.
No cell notation figuring out.
Just this….
Every time you need your user to enter data.
They’ll think ~~~BLUE~~~
Yes. Every Time.
Use Blue.
Yeah. This Blue: #00ffff
This garish, bright Blue.
Create the habit.
Why do I use BLUE?
I use it this blue because nobody’s gonna normally use it. It’s the least used color of all of them.
I don’t know what google was thinking… making this one of the colors in the top row of the color selector.
When would you ever use this color?
Never!
That’s why I use it to tell others… ENTER YOUR DATA HERE!
Look at this garish-ness, again!
By the second day of this, new recruits, new colleagues, new interns will know where they can input data.
The hex code is #00ffff
Truly, something is 0FF about this color.
It’s so fun to point out. And use, in moderation.
And an office will get behind this. It becomes jargon, shortcode, for “put your numbers here!”
Enjoy!
